Can a picture be more confusing than thousand words?
Do the readers understand the photojournalistic genres, styles and methods? What happens when the photojournalist challenges the photojournalistic standards by experimenting with visuals styles or by using a more personal voice in his/hers storytelling? By doing so do we push the boundaries and challenge the code of ethics? Does the Press Com- plaints Commission have the proper “tools” and visual competence to assess complaints concerning visual journalism?
